BIOS: Since 1985, the Brobsts have owned and trained Norwich Terriers. In Obedience their Norwich Terriers have obtained 5 CDs, 3 CDXs, 2 UD titles, and 1 VERSITILITY title. Recently, Chip, their youngest Norwich, earned scores in the upper 190s to earn his CD and received High-In-Trial at his last trial. At the time of their first UD, there were fewer than 10 Norwich Terriers with a UD in the USA. In Rally, their Norwich Terriers have titled in all levels of Rally, including several RAE’s plus a RACH, which included several High Triples and High Combined titles. Several years ago, their Norwich, Zilly, was the first Norwich in the country to earn the RAE title. In Freestyle, their Norwhich, JT, earned a CFF Level 2 title and came in first in a group competition. They have several titles in Agility, including a PACH. Their Therapy Norwich Terriers enjoyed their visits to a local nursing home each week and entertained the residents while the Brobsts helped with BINGO. When their dog club has a demo team, the Brobsts are part of the team visiting nursing homes and retirement communities. They have taught all levels of Obedience and Rally classes for years. They are both AKC Rally judges and Dave is an AKC Obedience judge. In 2019, they both judged the AKC Rally National Championship in Tulsa, OK. This year Dave judged Obedience at the AKC Classic in Orlando. They both enjoy having fun with their Norwich Terriers; cherishing the bonds and journeys with their best buddies.
