AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test. The first test for companion dogs. Once you pass the test, you can take a Trick Dog Test for which you need only 5 tricks. To finalize the both tests, you must register them with the AKC. The Tricks Test requires that the CGC be registered.
